Today's Golfer Magazine did a head-to-head test of Cut DC and Cut Blue against Titleist's Pro V1 and Pro V1x. Here is what they found: Cut DC: 42% cheaper than a Titleist Pro V1x Cut DC: 1.4% more driver carry distance than the comparable Pro V1x (5.4% more than the Pro V1) Cut DC: Equal iron distance to the comparable Pro V1x (0.6% less than the Pro V1) Cut DC: 4.5% less wedge spin than the comparable Pro v1x (2.8% less than the Pro V1) Their final verdict? 2018 Cut Invitational Video Premiere

The 2nd Annual Cut Invitational went off without a hitch. We kickstarted it off at Newport Beach Golf Course (aka 'The Mats'). Players went off in groups of 8, and individual stroke play was the format with closest to the pin contests on 7 of the 9 holes. Our closest to the pin winners from each hole had a shootout on Number 3 to determine the winner of a brand new Nation MFG Surfboard, and bragging rights for the year. Ben Taylor, of Par 69 Golf, took the win stuffing a wedge close and claiming the board. From there we cleaned up and strolled over to The Country Club in Costa Mesa for fine appetizers and hosted cocktails. Stories...
